KIC is a universal VIN to PIN calculator for SMARTRA (Smart Transponder Antenna) Immobilizer Control Module (ICM) made by Bosch and used in KIA and Hyundai vehicles, such as:

• Kia Rio, Sorento, Sephia, Mentor, Spectra, Cerato, Carnival, Sedona, Opirus, Sportage, Bongo, Shuma...
• Hyundai Accent, Matrix, Elantra, Santa Fe, Trajet, Terracan, Getz, Coupe...

KIC can calculate 6 digits Immo PIN code from VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) for car models made after middle of 1999. Just enter last 6 digits of VIN and you will get calculated PIN code for car immobilizer in a second. Default Immobilizer PIN code for SMARTRA is a 234567 and 2345 for Shin-Chang type of ICM.

For some modifications of Kia Clarus, Shuma, Mentor 2, Sephia 2, Sportage, Carnival, Pride, Sedona, Carens, Rio and other vehicle models made in June-December of 1999 year with Texton immobilizer you can use last 5 digits of VIN as immobilizer PIN code, where "0" may be be replaced by "1" or "2" depend of car model, VIN or date of production.

PIN Code calculation algorithm used in Smartra immobilizers for Kia and Hyundai cars is based on bit shifting, bit comparison, exclusive OR operations and divisions.
